Dear guest,
Thank you for visiting our website! 🔱
Below, you’ll find information about Montenegro, the hotel, and the agenda for the days. We look very much forward to having you join us!

The Agenda
Welcome to Montenegro! 🇲🇪🇲🇪
Montenegro is a small, mountainous country situated in the Balkans. It has a population of just over 600,000 people.
Most people will be able to enter the country without a visa, but please confirm your individual circumstances.
Upon arrival, the hotel will collect everyone’s passports and register them with the local tourist office – this is something that everyone visiting the country must do. 🛂 The hotel has also agreed to process the passports for guests staying in the apartments nearby, so please drop your passports off at hotel reception as soon as you can.
Please keep your registration card until you leave the country: they may be checked upon your departure, and you may face a fine if you do not have it.
Even though Montenegro is not part of the EU, it uses the euro 💶; most places take card.
We will be getting married in Rose 🌹, a little village situated on the bay of Kotor. The village is small, with one cafe, one restaurant, and one small shop (which should be open by May). Everything is down by the beach, and it takes only a few minutes to walk the length of the promenade.
This is the map of the hotel:
Most people will be flying into Tivat Airport, which is about a 30 minute drive to the hotel:
You can rent a car at the airport, or call a taxi. Note that most people / taxis in Montenegro use Viber for messaging and calls; Whatsapp is also popular.
Those flying into Podgorica will have a longer drive:
We will try to match people arriving into Podgorica to be able to carpool, please let us know if you are flying into Podgorica and when, and we will connect you to relevant guests.
As Croatia recently joined the Schengen zone, we found the border crossing between Croatia and Montenegro can take a long time. For that reason, we are now suggesting to guests not to fly into Dubrovnik.
The fun begins! 😇 For those who are able to make it to Rose on Thursday, we will have a fairly relaxed schedule:
Those staying at the hotel will have breakfast near the restaurant, by the pool. ☀️ This is a great day to explore the area, catch up with friends, or to laze by the pool. While the town we’re staying in, Rose, is small, there are plenty of activities in the area. You can try out:
Please come back in good time for dinner. At 7pm, we will be having a delicious ___ meal at ___, and some guests will say a few words.
The big day! 💍
Please join us for our wedding ceremony at 3pm; the ceremony will take place on the terrace overlooking the gorgeous bay. 💒
Following the ceremony, you are invited to a drinks reception at around 4pm, served with light snacks, in the hotel. Simultaneously, we will be having photos done, and we will ask all of you to join us in groups or individually. 🥂
Following the drinks reception and photos, we will be having dinner at around 6pm. Speeches will be made, and you will be asked to choose between a vegan food option and a seafood option. 🫑🐟
After dinner, we will move to the dance floor, where India and Anton perform their first dance! 🕺🏻 We will also have an open bar for guests. As we have booked out the hotel, we will be able to dance through the night. Please feel free to join us for as long as you’d like.
All great things must come to an end. Following a light breakfast, check-out will take place before 11am; those who are flying out of Tivat at 1pm are advised to get there ~1 to 1.5 hours in advance: it’s a small airport, and it doesn’t take long to get through security. 🛫
Some of you will be staying in Montenegro or driving beyond – please let us know if you would like recommendations for things to do in the area, or further afield.
Thank you so much for sharing this weekend with us, and we are super excited to make amazing memories with you all!
While some people do brush their teeth with tap water, we do not recommend drinking water from the tap.
